Programme partners
The Ministry of Community Development and Social Service
We work with the ministry to deliver developmental programmes to communities. The ministry also helps us on with issues relating to child protection, fostering and adoption.
The Ministry of Health
The ministry has been providing capacity building to our caregivers and medical help to people in our home-based care programme.
House of Moses and other orphanages
These homes provide shelter for abandoned children and orphans who come through Heart of Mercy while they await adoption or a return to families.
YWCA
The YWCA helps to identify young people who require training and helps us to train them. We also refer any gender-based violence victims to the YWCA for shelter and other services.
ZNBC and Daily Mail
ZNBC (Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation) and the Daily Mail have helped to promote our work.

- The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia sponsored 68 children in primary and secondary school in 2010 and 2011
- Ministry of Community Development and Social Services donated money for school books to the orphans
- The YWCA is sponsoring 101children in primary school and 21 in secondary school and provided nutritional support for 196 orphans in 2010-2011
- With the support of Bethlehem Mission Immensee (BMI), we were able to start a block-making business in 2010. BMI has also supported our nutritional support programme for babies born from HIV-positive women
- With the support of Barclays, we were able to build a storeroom on our land, as part of our block-making enterprise
- Arcades Shopping Centre provided nutritional support and also sponsored a borehole, through Giga Drilling, for the land we plan to build an orphanage and nursery on
- Indillila Architects and Associates designed the plans for the orphanage and nursery
- Damisheal Christian Academy donated a desk top computer
- RADIO PHEONIX and DOXA Ministries Int. donated clothes to our orphans
- Individuals donate funds for administration costs
